Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get started?
Getting started is simple. Click Start a Visit and you’ll be taken to our secure patient portal, where you’ll choose your visit type, enter your information, and complete a brief questionnaire. A licensed clinician will review your request and send your care plan, along with a prescription to your chosen pharmacy if one is appropriate.
Do you take insurance?
The Traveling PCP is a private-pay practice and does not bill insurance or Medicare. Patients with commercial insurance or Medicare are welcome to book and pay directly. Many patients pay with an HSA or FSA card. You can also submit your receipt to your insurer for possible reimbursement, though reimbursement isn’t guaranteed.
How much does a visit cost?
We offer transparent, upfront pricing. Each visit costs $115 and covers one health concern. Your visit includes a clinical review by a licensed clinician, an individualized care plan, and a prescription sent to your local pharmacy when appropriate. Any medication is paid for separately at your pharmacy.
When will I be charged?
You’ll add a card when you book, but you won’t be charged then. Your card is charged only after your clinician completes your visit and sends your care plan or prescription.
Can I get help with more than one concern?
Each visit covers one health concern. If you have more than one, please start a separate visit for each.
What if my concern can’t be treated online?
You won’t pay. If your clinician determines that your concern needs an in-person exam or a different level of care, your visit will be canceled at no charge, and we’ll point you in the right direction.
What is your refund policy?
Because you’re charged only after your visit is completed, refunds usually aren’t needed. Once a visit is completed, the fee is non-refundable.
